Wall Street Journal M.E. to resign

advertisement

Managing Editor Marcus Brauchli plans to step down after less than a year from the editorial board of WSJ, sources say. People familiar with the situation say that Robert Thomson, publisher, may temporarily take over as M.E.

The Wall Street Journal has clearly shown signs of change since Newscorp's purchase of Dow Jones, the parent company of WSJ. Rupert Murdoch has said he wants to position the WSJ as a clear competitor of the New York Times.
